Aligning Outcomes, Assessment, & Activities
While creating my big, hairy, audacious goal I took into account what my innovation plan's goal. Throughout the development of the alignment of the assessments and activities I also focused on creating significant learning environments and my learning philosophy during the process. I chose to focus on the teachers that will be implementing the ePortfolios in their own classroom to get them prepared and ready to be able to better help their students when they are creating their ePortfolios for the first time. Using Fink's Significant Learning Outcomes I was able to create a plan that will allow teachers an opportunity to create their own ePortfolio and in turn, teach their own students too.

Big Hairy Audacious Goal
Learners will be able to confidently guide their students in the creation of an ePortfolio to use throughout third through fifth grade.
Foundational Knowledge
Learners will need to have basic computer skills to be able to complete their own ePortfolio. They will also be adding learning and activities they have done in professional development to their portfolio. When the learner begins to learn and create their own ePortfolios, they will need to have these items collected. We will also be looking at the benefits of ePortfolios to understand why we are implementing them and the importance of giving students choice, ownership, and voice in their learning journey.
Application Goals
Learners will be applying these new skills in their own classroom. They will see the critical thinking skills it will take to design and maintain an ePortfolio. Learners will also run into roadblocks and problems that they will have to problem solve. Allowing them to solve them will give the confidence and know how to be able to help their students with they run into the same problems. Learners will gain the knowledge of creating and navigating ePortfolios and how to share that knowledge with their students.
Integration Goals
The ePortfolio will be used cross curricularly. Learners will be taking a deep dive into how to apply the ePortfolio in every subject. Reflections will be used and they will be key in student reflecting and growing their learning. We will take time in the learning process to clearly define learning objectives for each subject and that will allow learners to see the potential of ePortfolios in each subject.
Human Dimension Goals
Learners will be able to reflect on their learning while learning how to create their own ePortfolio. This will give them a good insight as to how their students learn and how they can better accommodate them in class. By sharing each other's ePortfolio, they will learn how to collaborate and give feed forward to another person. This will
Caring Goals
Learners will be very interested in the benefits of ePortfolios for their students. It promotes reflective and active learning, showcases student learning, and helps teachers see how to differentiate their student's learning. In order for them to be used successfully, learners will first need to be able to create one to be able to navigate and teach their students.
"Learning How-to Learn" Goals
In the process of learning how to create and navigate an ePortfolio, learners will also be building their technology knowledge. They will also be working on their own reflections in the process and gain a deeper understanding of their learning.
