Teachers are masters of engagement. Being in the classroom and witnessing the difference between a lesson that really gets my students engaged and one that doesn't quite hit that mark is interesting to witness. In order to make learning happen in our classroom engagement is key. The same goes for media. If the media isn't entertaining. pulling at heartstrings, or making you want to do something, it isn't doing its job. I do think that I tend to be the most engaged when I am being presented with something that emotionally moves me.

For my innovation plan, we will be implementing ePortfolios in our elementary school. I have pulled a lot of emotions such as frustration and disappointment from what its like to not have such a thing for parents, teachers, and students to look at and reflect on. I have also applied logic to this because having something like an ePortfolio makes things a lot easier to keep track of, reflect on, and communicate with. I believe that my publication and our media project will also reflect on how emotionally and logically having ePortfolios and AI in the classroom makes sense. In my publication, I also offered a lot of real classroom examples and even examples of what each type of AI could be used for. Engagement is not just valuable; it's essential for fostering meaningful connections, driving progress, and enriching our lives. Engagement is key.
